When I moved to LA in 2001 I was told an easy way to have something copyrighted was to mail it to yourself (and never opening it) as the date on the letter proves how old it is. So when I started writing music I would quickly record songs, sketches, ideas, etc, burn them onto a CD and put it in the mail to myself.

I recently found a few of these on an old hard drive. These are VERY rough. Most have a bit of reverb or chorus but none mixed, edited, or mastered. They are as raw as you can get with clicks, pops and mistakes included. Some are missing sections and some have made up lyrics on the spot.

They are best heard after 3 or 4 glasses of wine :)
